Dopaminergic Larva Nervous system
Subtype of dopaminergic neuron of the DL2 cluster of the larval brain. Its neurites terminate in both lateral calyces, and in the posterior parts of the pedunculi. It arborizes in the ipsi- and contralateral dorsomedial protocerebra.
Dopaminergic cells were identified by double labeling with a tyrosine hydroxylase (anti-TH) antibody and a TH-GAL4 driver (FBtp0020119) (Selcho et al., 2009).
